Visual arts courses run in multi-week sessions covering ceramics, glass, painting, drawing, or fiber arts, with instructor demonstrations followed by guided studio work. TryMe classes offer one-day introductions with all materials provided for adults new to a medium. The Art of Movement program covers fitness and dance-style classes with a separate registration process.

Campus-scale and varied, the Workhouse mixes hobbyists, families, and more serious students across many studios. The overall feel is community arts center rather than specialized school.
