What to expect your first visit

What to expect

Adult classes include Beginner Ballet, Afro-FIT, Afro-Latino, Barre Pilates, and jazz and hip hop. Ballet sessions open with barre work and progress to center combinations. Afro-FIT emphasizes rhythmic movement oriented toward cardio and fitness. Afro-Latino blends Latin social dance rhythms with movement foundations. Culturally rooted classes draw on tradition as well as technique.

Community-oriented and purposeful. The Columbia Heights location has a neighborhood feel, and the organization's larger mission is present in the way classes are run.
